I’m all moved into my new place (but not unpacked yet).  Started my new job yesterday.  Went well.

I ended up moving into a different apartment than originally planned.  Long story.  But this is a MUCH better place on all counts.

However, my !@#$^&* computer is giving me more problems.  First it stopped recording audio (so no more podcasts), now it won’t work with the ethernet adaptor (meaning, no internet either).  I’m actually on my old laptop, using it just to get online to check and pay bills.

So I won’t be online much, it seems, until I can find a better solution or save up and buy a Mac or something.  I hate Windows Vista.  It’s been one headache after another with it…

You can’t avoid it. You can maybe delay it, fight it, or try to direct it — but sooner or later, change will happen.

Two weeks ago, my life started going through a lot of rapid-fire changes.

First, my car stopped working. It wouldn’t even start. I had it towed to a local repair shop. $650 later, it’s running again — but not quite all fixed. *sighs* It’s an old car and likely to have more and more required repair work in due time. My parents suggested maybe looking into buying a new car. At a certain point, it’s just financially smarter.

It all happened so unexpectedly, as if all by synchronicity.
