Superhero Tax Breaks?

Empire Magazine did an article about the top 10 wealthiest superhero characters… Poor Peter Parker (Spider-Man) was at the bottom of the list. He’s a freelance photographer for a newspaper, after all. Trying to make rent in New York City of all places. Tony Stark (Iron Man) made the #1 spot as the wealthiest hero, followed closely behind by Bruce Wayne (The Batman).
But as fascinating as all this is for all of you, it was actually someone’s comment (to the article) that really caught my attention. This comic book fan felt it necessary to adjust for, of all things, tax breaks. Or rather, the hero’s inability to claim them. “Batman can’t claim tax breaks on the batmobile,” he noted, and “Iron Man can’t claim the $7 billion for his suits as a business expense.”
Then it got me thinking.
What if a superhero did try to claim their special suits, equipment, and vehicles as tax deductions?
