Day Better Spent
Man, I so don’t feel like coming into work today.
I’m so tired/sleepy. I need more sleep. But I have to be responsible and reliable.

There’s a light
that took on human form
It grew up like all the others
thinking that was the norm
But one day the light woke up
and realized what it was
And now it wants to start over
a fresh start, just because.

Well, this week of work sucked. I’m not sure I earned enough to live on.
Fortunately, the US Government, in her infinite wisdom, sent me my $600 tax refund.
That’ll hold me over for now.
Unfortunately, my credit card company is being an ass.

It’s a new day.
Yesterday was rough, but I started feeling better around mid-afternoon. In case it was all part of a heart cleanse or something, I just let the emotions out. Let myself feel them and release them as they came. Like I said, around mid afternoon I started feeling better. Maybe I just got it all out of my system. Maybe I was emotionally exhausted and just needed a break. Maybe it was because I was listening to an audio program from Wayne Dyer or something. I dunno.

Emotional Mastery: Friendliness
First meditate, be blissful, then much love will happen of its own accord. Then being with others is beautiful and being alone is also beautiful. Then it is simple, too. You don’t depend on others and you don’t make others dependent on you. Then it is always a friendship, a friendliness.. . . And if you see that the moment has come to depart because your paths separate at this crossroad, you say good-bye with great gratitude for all that the other has been to you, for all the joys and all the pleasures and all the beautiful moments that you have shared with the other. With no misery, with no pain, you simply separate.
