Great Weekend
I had a great weekend at the Achieving Life Health & Wellness Expo. There wasn’t much foot traffic, but I had a great time meeting and chatting with many of the vendors. I made some new friends this weekend. :)
I was the last speaker of the event — and in my humble opinion, the best! ;) hehe.
But seriously, it turned out great.
I started my talk with the 7 Keys to a Fulfilling Life — even helped one lady in the audience get inspired to make a positive change in her own life. Then we got into something I’m really passionate about: making money in today’s stock market.
We, of course, ran overtime. But that’s one reason why I was scheduled as the last one for the day. I know at least one person is going to start investing using stock options (doing what I’m doing). There were also some high school students in the audience too — one as young as 16. They were both excited about everything I covered. The 16-year-old wanted to bring home the sheet from the presentation easel about the 7 Keys. I may have just changed a life for all I know.
Interesting things are developing from this, too. At the expo, I met a gifted lady who practices NLP and Processology. She was giving free sample sessions — and of course, I got one. :) It was … wonderful. I actually overcame and healed some deep inner issues and fears that I’ve been struggling to overcome for literally years. It’s amazing how well it worked. I actually started crying a few times. She asked if I wanted to continue this session later over the phone, but I needed to finish what we started. I didn’t care that random strangers were walking by. And I’m glad I did. She helped me get past and heal some deep stuff.
Seriously.
I knew NLP was useful and effective (I believe Tony Robbins got his start in that), but I didn’t know what exactly it was or how it worked. Now, I know I’ll be back for more to keep growing in the future. It’s a powerful tool to have.
And speaking of Tony Robbins, at the end of the month he’s holding a live UPW (Unleash the Power Within) event in Orlando. I’m going to be there.
I’m going to walk on burning coals.
And that’s just the first night. :)
So I’m very excited about that.
But I want to get back to my first public speaking event. I was a little nervous, of course, but I knew my stuff and I had friends in the audience. After it was over, I was told several times, by several people, that I made a really good teacher and speaker.
In fact, the NLP lady already goes around doing speaking engagements and workshops with what she does. An important aspect of sucessful investing requires the right psychology and mindset (I’m serious — it’s part of my talk), and she had an interesting idea. What if we combined our skills and knowledge, and put on workshops together? I could teach the practical strategies and principles about how stock options work and how to be successful with them. (I am — my portfolio has been growing by about 40% in the last month alone.) And then she could take over and make sure people are subconsciously aligned and ready to build and maintain wealth. Everyone thinks and says they want to be rich — but many of us have subconscious blocks, issues of worthiness, fears, self-doubts, and limiting beliefs that prevent us from being successful. She’ll help clear that out and take care of the mental/emotional aspect of successful investing, and I’ll handle the practical application side.
We’re going to talk more and work out the details. We’re thinking tentatively of doing a local workshop in either November or January. I’ll keep you posted. :)
Anyway, it was a long and fun weekend. I’m glad I went. I’m exhausted. As you can expect, I didn’t get much sleep. Still catching up. But I feel good.
Real good.
And I’m in the flow. Will I start speaking and doing workshops more? Maybe. There’s a possibility this might actually happen. But if not, that’s okay too. God’s guiding me one step at a time. He hasn’t revealed much, only tiny clues here and there. And whatever’s coming and wherever I’m going — I can tell it’s something to look forward to. :)
Thanks for reading, thanks for being my friends, and thanks for all your encouragement and support.
I love you.

Congratulations on your first successful speaking venture. It’s awesome it turned out so great. What your doing now is working! I remember reading your blog entries months ago and it seemed like you were always experiencing hardship and opposition. I’m happy to read that the opposition is now replaced by success and prosperity. I’ve walked on burning coals myself and thought it was easy. Everyone else was screaming in pain and I just had to wonder why they took their shoes off. Crazy people! :)
