Chaos.  Change.  You turn me inside out and my world upside down.

You’re changing me.  Guiding me through that change.

One step at a time.  I’m never quite sure where we’re going, but You know the way.

I have to have faith.  I have to trust.  I have to have hope.

I have to listen.

Yet, if I make a mistake, You protect me, You keep me safe.  You guide me back on course, whether I realize it or not, because You know the way and I don’t.

You’re guiding me.

But to where?  And for what?

Are you preparing me for some great mission, some ultimate life purpose?

Are you conditioning me and readying me for The One?

Are you just clearing out all the muck and all the mess, all the things that aren’t You and aren’t Me, to bring us closer together than We’ve ever been before?

Perhaps, all of these?

I don’t know.  You know the way.  You’re the One guiding…

I just have to trust.  I just have to wait.  I just have to listen … and follow, when I hear.

One day at a time.

That’s how You lead.

So one day at a time.

That’s how I’ll follow.
